Long Term Rentals and Noise By-law Open House Meetings

The Town will host two online open house events on July 7 and 9 to collect feedback and answer questions related to Long Term Rental and Noise by-law consultations and proposed revisions to municipal legislation.

Municipal Heritage Committee Returns Online

The Municipal Heritage Committee met for the first time since March on June 23, and will return to a normal committee schedule on July 14.

Topics on the June 23 agenda included Heritage Permit Applications for:

  • Installation of Lighting and Minor Alterations to Storefront at 89-91 Queen Street (Bank of Montreal)

  • Installation of Exterior Mechanical Equipment at 4-8 Queen Street and 217 King Street

  • Addition of Glass Atrium and Glass Skylight to Hotel Design at 118, 122 and 126 Queen Street (Q124 Hotel)

  • Demolition, Lifting and New Additions to Early Dwelling c.1820 at 240 Gate Street

  • Conservation Plan for Paxton House in St. Davids
